Meryl Goldfarb resides in Underhill, Vermont. She
has an Australian Shepherd named Sukee and a Golden Retriever named Sophie.
Meryl has been working in glass for the last seven years. Most of her formal
training has been at Horizon Craft School in Massachusetts. She is currently
an art major at University of Vermont. Kiln-formed glass is a process where cold sheet
glass is layered to create a design. From there, it is fired flat in a kiln
to 1500 degrees. Once it has been fired and then cooled, it is put back in
the kiln in a mold to slump into its final shape. To see more of Meryl’s work, visit her web site www.luciolestudios.com.
Meryl is currently a Featured Artist at Art on Main. |
