Meryl Goldfarb resides in Underhill, Vermont. She has an Australian Shepherd named Sukee and a Golden Retriever named Sophie. Meryl has been working in glass for the last seven years. Most of her formal training has been at Horizon Craft School in Massachusetts. She is currently an art major at University of Vermont.

 

Kiln-formed glass is a process where cold sheet glass is layered to create a design. From there, it is fired flat in a kiln to 1500 degrees. Once it has been fired and then cooled, it is put back in the kiln in a mold to slump into its final shape.
