Some will be for sale, and some are being donated to the Gallery for a fall fundraiser. The Opening Reception will be on Saturday August 12th from 5-7pm. Live music, food & drink, and excellent company.
Community members who have completed a Palette are welcome to bring it along for a sneak-peak before the town display in September. Potential guest visit by the Bristol Friends of the Arts' Giant Palette. Other surprises are in the works!

Palettes of Vermont, a Statewide Community Arts Project, presented by the Vermont Arts Council,
is a fun, inclusive project designed to unite people and communities through the arts. Since January 2006 more than 7,000 Vermont maple palettes (made by Maple Landmark in Middlebury) and 31,000 die-cut paper palettes have been distributed to participants from every part of the state, every walk of life, and all ages and abilities. The palettes are being created using many media -- paint, pastels, paper, ink, fabric, etc., or they can be incorporated into other creative activities such as theater, film, music, poetry, prose, dance and/or multimedia. >From Memorial Day through October 2006, the palettes will be exhibited in more than 70 Vermont communities.
